Altoona Curve April 21 Week in Review


Altoona finished the week with a 2-4 record and fell to last place in the Eastern League Western Division.  The Curve are 9-13 and tied for last place with Akron, 4 games behind the Portland Seadogs.

Starting pitcher Stolmy Pimentel shut out Richmond over six innings to earn his first win of the season on Wednesday.  Pimentel has allowed just one run in 23.1 innings pitched this season. 

Altoona played their 1000th regular-season home game in franchise history this week, losing 3-1 to Erie.  Prospect Jameson Taillon got the loss for the Curve.

This week the Curve wrap-up a three game set with Erie and then welcome Akron to town for a four-game series.  Altoona and the Aeros conclude their series with a 10:30 Kids Day matchup on Thursday.  They then head north for a three game series in Erie.
