GAME PREVIEW - Navy’s 17 home game regular season win streak will be on the line as undefeated and #20 ranked Central Florida comes to Annapolis for a 3:30 kickoff. The Knights are 5th in the nation in total offense averaging 547 yards per game.  They are also first in the nation in scoring offense, averaging 50.6 points.  The Knights are dominating their opponents, winning games by nearly 34 points per game.  That includes a 40-13 win over Memphis, the team that gave Navy their only loss of the season. The Navy defense has a huge task in front of them to get back to their winning ways. The Mids will have to play a nearly perfect game to pick up the win and won’t be able to afford turnovers or untimely penalties.

UCF is led by QB McKenzie Milton who has completed 70% of his passes while throwing for 15 TDs and just 2 INTs.  His leading target is Tre’Quan Smith who has 7 TD catches which is 7th best in the country.  As well as the Central Florida offense has played this year, the defense is giving up just 16.8 points per game and is holding opponents to just 110 yards on the ground.  They will be tested against the Navy triple option rushing attack that leads the nation with nearly 400 yards per game.

Navy is led by QB Zach Abey who is on pace to break the school’s rushing attempt record.  Abey has already rushed for 1016 yards and has 12 rushing TDs through the first 6 games.  Sophomore Malcolm Perry is the second leading rusher and receiver on the team with 4 total TDs.  Sean Williams leads the defense with 43 total tackles to go along with a FF and FR.
