Altoona
finished the week with a 3-4 record with two rainouts and two extra inning
tilts. Andrew Lambo had a big week for
Altoona improving his batting average by 20 points and adding 8 RBIs. Starting pitcher Tim Alderson was promoted to AAA
Indianapolis.
Currently
the Curve are 7-9 and in fourth place of the Eastern League Western Division,
2.5 games behind the Bowie Baysox.
Altoona
will wrap up a four-game set at Harrisburg this afternoon then travel to
Richmond for three games. Altoona comes
home to People’s Natural Gas field on Friday and will host Erie.
